Carebear's trip to the Nursing Home

Our Carebears went to Grace Health Care to sing Christmas Carols. They did a wonderful job singing. After they sang, the Carebears passed out homemade cookies that they decorated.

We started the program with the Carebears singing Thanksgiving songs.

We had a great Go West week!! We snacked on smores and beef jerky, raced stick horses, rode on a 'bull', ate hot dogs, tater chips and sasparilla, hunted for gold and then slept under the stars!! What a wonderful day!

Halloween Songs at the Nursing Home

The Carebear classrooms went to Grace Health Care on Wednesday to sing Halloween songs to their residents. They all did a really great job singing.

After their songs, the Carebears passed out cookies to the residents.

Pumpkin Patch

Wow! What a great fieldtrip to Motley's Pumpkin Patch.

We started off with the pig races!!

And then went went to see the animals! We got to feed the goats, sheeps and chickens.

Then we got to run, jump and crawl through all of this hay!

After that we each got to pick our very own pumpkin from the pumpkin patch!

Then we went on a hay ride through the Christmas trees.
The last thing that we did was have a picnic. What a great time!

Celebrating Brown week is a great excuse to eat Chocolate Ice Cream!!

Color Units

We will be starting our color unit on Tuesday (Have a great Labor Day!). The first week we will be discussing the color RED! Every Thursday during our color unit we will encourage the children to dress in the color that we are learning about. Thank you so much for your participation!!

It is so good to back at work!! Thank you so much for sweet words and kind cards while I was gone. We are studying bugs this week!!

School Age Storybook Friends

The school age students have been hard at work rehearsing plays. They preformed Wednesday for the preschool children, a few parents and grandparents. Room 1 preformed "The Three Pigs". Room 2 preformed "Goldilocks and The Three Bears". Room 3 preformed "Three Billy Goats Gruff". Room 4 preformed "Little Red Riding Hood" and "Puss in Boots".

The school year is right around the corner!

We are now taking applications for school age students for Fall 2008. The fall registration is $18 for students that are currently attending. This fee will take the place of your October supply fee. Please pick up a form at the front desk. All forms for currently enrolled students are due by Friday, July 18.

Open registration for new students will begin Monday, July 21. If you are interested in attending, please give us a call at 501-315-2221.
